A safe and understanding space for LGBT elders who are acting as caregivers for partners, friends, or family members.

SAGE Telling Your Story Project
Mondays, 1:30 – 3pm
The sharing of life stories is a very rich and rewarding undertaking. Memories are stimulated, connections are made, and meaning is given to how we got where we are, both individually and as a community. Whether you choose to write or tell your stories aloud, your own history is worth sharing. If you want to be part of this wonderful and enriching experience, feel free to join in.

SAGE Men's Tuesday Morning Coffee
Tuesdays, 10am – Noon
Join old friends and make new ones at our weekly drop-in for morning coffee (and herbal tea) and good conversation. We provide the drinks. The conversation is free and relaxed. All ages welcome.

SAGE Life Losses Creative Arts Support Group
Fridays, 2–4pm
An art therapy support group for SAGE participants who can benefit from support during the grief process. This group runs in 8-week sessions, and interested participants must pre-register with Shari at swilkins@glbtcolorado.org or 303-951-5222.

Sage Yoga

SAGE Open Art Studio
Thursdays, 10–11:30am
This creative space will provide a variety of materials to work with, community to meet, and an on-site artist to support experimentation and to help make those creative ideas or images come alive. This time is not just about a finished product ... try out something new, use your body and your senses to surprise yourself! All ages welcome, no cost, art supplies provided!

SAGE Rx
3rd Fridays, 1:30-3pm
Studies show that the use of medication helps older adults in the treatment of their health challenges. However, the use of inappropriate medication or the inappropriate use of the correct medication can cause harm to individuals. SAGE Rx involves our own Tom Simpleman, a Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, who will review prescribed medication, dietary supplements, over the counter medication, etc. with individual SAGE members. Stop by The Center’s front desk to make an appointment.
